Chapter64

Aric's pov.

I moved towards the dungeon to go see my beta who had been locked up for about 2 days. The place was reeking with the smell of blood, and rusted metals which were from the bars that was used in the prison gates.

I raise my nose in disgust, trying to contain the stench I inhaled in. It was too unbearable, and I wondered how he had not been able to crack. If I were in his shoes I would have tried my best to make sure that I got out of here without any delay.

The place was crawling with insects and pest, and with our status, we didn't even get to see those every day, "so why wasn't he begging to accept my offer yet?" I pondered.

My guards escorted me until I got towards his cell. However, I stopped when I saw I was really close to the cell.

“Stay here, I want to have a personal conversation with Aaron,” I replied with the strong expression on my face. I didn't want them to see my beta, or hear the conversation which we're going to have because it was highly confident
