Ember's POV

I walked down the corridor the next day to meet with Ruel in the forest. With everyone suddenly remembering that they had someone somewhere and deciding to show up, I had to improvise. If not I would not only get caught, but I would be playing with Trent's jealousy. That would be a dangerous mix seeing that my nemesis was in the picture.

She was ready to destroy every good thing I had going on, I was just determined not to allow that to happen."Where are you heading?" Sonia intercepted me causing my steps to falter.

I squinted and frowned in irritation. I hated it when my plans didn't go as well as I wanted. What would it have cost her to just leave and let me be? Instead, she decided to talk to me
