Xander was tired of having to wait all the day before Ellie returned. It was finally D-Day when he was going to tell her that he no longer wanted her. He was tired of having to keep up with the pretense when he knew that it was not true. As someone who hated being bound yet not released he sighed and headed straight to the Pack house.

His sister intercepted him with a worried look on her face. "What is going on, Grace?"

She hugged him and dragged him into one of the rooms they used for small pack meetings. "I don't know how to break the news to you because I don't want you to be angry."

He raised a brow at the disclaimer. There was definitely something wrong with her. "Are you getting a divorce? Did that man hit you? Tell me what it is before I lose my temper." He snapped at her.
