Chapter 9. Blaze's POV

We looked at the door with her eyes still open wide. Then I regained my composure and sat up.

The footsteps didn't stop, they only got louder and I looked at Stephanie who's mouth was slightly open as she looked at me.

"Under the bed." I said because that was what she should have done the moment she heard the footsteps instead of staring at me.

Then I heard a knock as Stephanie swung her feet down from the bed.

I immediately put on my trousers and wiped off the sweat that had formed on my face and body.

I watched as Stephanie went underneath the bed completely then went to the door. The knock came again and I opened it.

It was my mother.

"Blaze. Are you okay?" She asked in concern.

"I'm fine Mum, just... Just tell him to get out. Tell him to leave. I don't want to see him tomorrow morning." I said and she sighed.

"Blaze. I know you're very angry and frustrated but you should hear him out. He's still your father." She said looking at me with her troubled eyes.
