Jennifer's POV

I stormed out of Logan's chambers seeing red. He had just confirmed all my suspicions.

He had been avoiding me since the day he tried to have sex with me. I knew he lied that day that he had a stomach ache. Something transpired that day that I still didn't quite understand.

Did the potency of the perfume I made from Renae's pheromones stop here? He was only drawn to my scent but he couldn't bring himself to mark or mate me.

Did he find out that I wasn't the girl that saved him? Isn't it suspicious that the small doctor went missing around this time?

Not that it mattered, I wanted her dead. But who am I kidding? I couldn't get her out of the picture because I needed her. I am scared now.

Apart from the fact that the perfume seemed not to be as perfect as I had thought, I had almost exhausted it. I needed Renae's pheromones to make another one, at least it was potent enough to make him desire me. I will seduce him with the scent and make him lie with me.
