Chapter 49

Jennifer's POV

A pang of headache took hold of me as my eyes flipped open. I rolled to the other side of the bed and grunted as I tried to sit up.

A glance revealed a familiar setting.

I was in my room and I was on the bed, but I felt restless.

My headache was bad and my whole body felt sore. My gaze was unstable too. I rose from the bed and sauntered towards the sofa.

I did not know for how long I had slept, but a quick peek through the blinds revealed utter darkness.

I shut my eyes trying to recollect the day's events.

"Bring Prince Logan!" My voice rang in my ears and I remembered chanting such words!

"Fuck me! I made a fool of myself!" I shut my eyes once more, and my memory returned in flashes.

Another memory popped up; A nice-smelling man showed up from nowhere. He identified me as The Beta's daughter and laid me on his back.

Thinking back now, I think the man looked vaguely familiar. But I just couldn't fix his identity.

Other memories came in flashes too. They wer
