David's POV
"Hey Char, I was calling about taking Killian to lunch. Is he busy today?"
"Today?"
"Yes, it's been a slow day for me here. Finished all my paperwork on permits for the new houses and I figured I could take him out to lunch. You know, talk with him and get to know him."
"Uhm, okay. Yeah, he's free for lunch. He's a little picky when it comes to food but let me ask him where he wants to go." She said.
"Oh, well I figured we could just drive around and he could pick us out a place to eat. You know, make it our place to go together."

When we pulled up in front of the curb to the house Killian raced out of the car.
