We were still in that position for for some minutes when we heard a sharp knock on the door. I asked him if he was expecting anybody and he said no. We walked to the house without saying any word to each other. My mind was still racing and I couldn't still believe what just happened. As I got closer to the hostel the rain had subsided already. it was very noisy and crowded with people trooping in and out and chattering like birds. I woke up around minutes past nine in the night because chioma and I had planned on going on night class because of the upcoming exam. It was very easy for me to assimilate during night hours. Or in the early morning hour when everywhere was quiet and you could hear the sound of a pin drop. After we got to faculty of law we sat at the front row in one of the classes. Chioma put on her head phone immediately like she always she and set to read. She said it . easy for her to read and assimilate anytime she was listening to music. But for me it was a total different case, anytime I was listening to music I usually listen to the lyrics and translate the meaning In my head. And if peradventure I have a book I was reading I would not understand a thing in the book. There were a lot of people in the hall and it made the place warmer than outside and I didn't have to put on my sweater. I did my assignments first at before I was able to complete it, it was already one o'clock in the early morning. Many people in the hall were already sleeping, with thier mouths opened. Chioma was also sleeping, she had actually told me to wake her anytime I caught her sleeping and anytime I did she told me to wake her after ten minutes and anytime the time minutes was up she always added
