Fifty Nine

Cameron waited for Ruby to come out of Spring’s room before grabbing her hand and taking her to his room. She had yelped when he first grabbed her but calmed down when she realized it was just him.

“Where are we going?” she asked him, but he didn't answer. He knew if he had told her it was his room, she would have removed her hand from his and run the other way.

For some reason, he felt like she had been avoiding him for a couple of days, and he wouldn't have that. She wasn’t going to succeed in evading him whenever he was home anymore. He dragged her into his room and locked the door, then he turned to face her.

“What are you doing?” she asked as he walked to her and he smiled with a shake of his head.

“Well, that's my line. It should be my question to you, and not yours to me.” He said to her. "Have you been avoiding me?” he asked.
