I had a laugh without humor. My own body refused to find the grace of such a statement. He was more than right. I would have done more than kiss him again that night if I could go back in time and control myself enough to explain why he was shaking me so much. Even though I didn't know my worst secrets, Flynn already knew perfectly well I couldn't contain my instincts before him. This led me to think that he should be making a lot of effort at that moment not to give in to his impulses either.

"So you're even more convinced than I thought, Flynn.

"They're facts, Tasha. I said I'm very good at interpreting a person's emotions.”

"Not really, creature. You are totally wrong.”

Flynn laughed when I rolled my eyes in debauchery, and the sound of his laughter made my stomach fill with butterflies. If he really had that ability, he would know the role I played that night a month ago, he would know that I was lying about my reactions and mannerisms from the moment he picked me up at my house.
