28- Bruce the Ladykiller

Adam’s POV

Bruce- Stacey protected Evie.

Adam- Tell them to collapse. I can’t kill her unless, I have proof she hurt Evie.

Bruce- Done.

“It should be working its way through her system. Hope she doesn’t think to nurse right now. I’ll raise Mia to be the perfect child,” she pulls a gun out of her bag.

“My bodyguards,” her laugh cuts me off.

“Please, like I didn’t think of that. The two at the gate won’t get here in time, and the one with your wife will be too preoccupied with her. I’ll be long gone, while you bleed out on the floor. And I’ll have Mia, the child that should have been mine. I’ll never have children, I can’t. I tried for a year, all those times you came inside me, I wasn’t on birth control.”

I smirk, knowing it was Bruce. He held back so I couldn’t get her pregnant.
