Chapter Eighty One

Rose

I slowly opened my eyes to reveal that I was back in the safety of Orion’s office. I stared down at the mansion; my fingers lingered over, and hastily, I dropped the map on top of the pile of other maps. Where in the world did I just go? Where in time did I just go? My eyes fell down to the date in the corner of the map, 1921.

***Do you want to have dinner together still?*** Harriet’s voice echoed in my mind.

***Uh, yeah. Are you getting hungry?*** I responded to her as I stared at the map.

***Yes, ma’am, Luna, ma’am *** Harriet sang loudly at me.

*** I’ll meet you in the kitchen in a minute.***

I walked to the door to leave the office yet stopped to take one last look at the map that laid on Orion’s desk. I nervously chewed on my bottom lip. I slipped into the guest room to grab my premonition journal before making my way towards the kitchen. Harriet was skipping down the stairs as I rounded the corner.
