Chapter Forty Eight- Clearing The Air

The only thing she wished was for the ground to open up and swallow her. But it wasn't the time to act like a coward before him, it would only make her vulnerable. Knowing she wasn't ready to face him that moment, she walked past him with so much confidence in the little space he had created without saying a word.

She could feel him walking her out with his blazing eyes and tried as much as she could to be more careful with every step she took.

She reached her office and stepped in, locking the door behind her. All she needed right now was her privacy and the worst thing was someone invading it.
