Chapter Forty Seven - Cassie's Return to GGC

The bright rays of light that shone in the room made Cassie open her eyes reluctantly. Feeling a bit dizzy, she closed them again as she felt her head almost splitting into two. What happened last night? Was she drunk? She jerked up immediately as soon as she heard Marcus’ voice.

“Good morning sunshine.” He smiled lovingly.

“Is it morning already?” She stifled a yawn and sat up, peering at Marcus who was dressed in a bathrobe.

“It's past 6am, I'm sorry you slept late.”

“l did?” She raised a questioning brow.

“He turned to her and walked up to the bedside, leaning close to her.

“Yeah. And I guess you were a bit tipsy from yesterday's..

“I don't drink.” Cassie cut in suddenly.

“Yes, you don't.” He snapped.

“So? Why am I feeling light headed? Did you drug me or something?”

“You don't remember anything that happened yesterday?”
