“Nah, I don't think I'll go.” I refused popping an almond seed into my mouth.

“You guys click, you have to give it a try before refusing.” Diane tried convincing me but I was stubborn.

“You don't even know his name and you are convinced that anyone who goes out with your friend clicks.”

“I might not know his name but Xavier does and if he trusts him, I also do.”

“Don't be so cheesy. Moreover he's going to be my boss, how do you expect me to date and work for him? I don't wanna go through that route again.”

“Think of it like this, you both first met at a store and then you went to the cafe waiting for your interviewer only to find out he's the one again. Girl, I'll call this fate and nothing else.”

“You know there might be a chemistry between you two, not as an employer and an employee but as lovers.”
