Asher’s pov

My eyes watched my mother as she walked around my office touching what her eyes captured. I waited for her to say what made her visit.

‘What brings you here mother?’ I finally asked when she said nothing.

‘Why did you leave your house?’ She asked instead.

‘I don't feel safe there anymore.’ She eyed me with concern.
