BACK TO JENNA POV

Keith's voice was a dark whisper in my ear, sending shivers down my spine. I tried to pull away, but his grip tightened, his hand moving from my mouth to my waist, holding me in place.

The bloodied hand on the floor seemed to stare back at me, a gruesome sight to bear.

“What did you do, Keith?” I choked out, my voice barely more than a whisper. Fear and anger battled within me, each breath feeling like a struggle against the weight of his presence.

“What had to be done,” he replied, his tone chillingly calm. “You need to understand, Jenna. No one touches what’s mine.”

My heart pounded in my chest as I tried to process his words. Keith had always been possessive, but this... this was beyond anything I had ever imagined.
