Rhys’s Pov

She walked out briskly and I sighed as I settled back on my chair.

When has she started to have control over my body and brain?

‘It has been going on for a while. You have just turned an intentional blind eye to it.’ Black said and I rolled my eyes.

‘Can’t you respect a man’s thoughts?’ I asked him and he chuckled.

‘I am your thoughts.’

I scoffed and ran my hands through my hair. I adjusted my shirts and stood upright.

In this goddamned pack, Sundays are not an exemption for working. They were even more active on Sundays.

‘You better act the alpha when you are at the meeting. Don’t go all respectful, they are all your subjects’ Black grounded as I closed up my file and picked up my coat.

‘Be helpful, not judgmental.’ I respond and leave the office, closing the door behind me.
