Mara's pov

The sun seeped through the cotton and settled on my face, I yawned and instantly palmed my face to block the sun ray.

I stretched out my hand to reach my phone but only the coldness of the bed welcomed me. I fluttered an eye open as I gradually observed my environment.

Noticing the unfamiliarity, I panicked and opened the second eye, I sat up straight while trying to recollect how I ended up here and most importantly, alone in this unknown place.

I gasped as a few fragments of memories gathered in my head, they weren't complete but I could still grasp what had happened.

“ Wait,” I suddenly spoke up as a particular memory rushed to my head, the memory was so embarrassing that I had to palm my face in embarrassment.

“ What will he think of me now?” I hit my head slightly as I tugged at my hair.

The shyness was suddenly replaced with anger as the fragment became whole, my forehead creased as anger oozed out of my body.
