Chapter 8

Reigna Mendoza can’t believe about what the doctor said to her. She wasn’t in her mind at the moment. She didn't even digest the words to her head.

“You are two weeks pregnant ma’am. Congratulations!”

That's were the words that keep on revolving in her head. She's in the kitchen, drinking a glass of water for the 4th time. She cannot even blink her eyes because of the news. She felt uneasy and burdened.

All she could think was the result of what the doctor said this morning. She feared what might Lucas reaction if he knew the truth.

Her pregnancy wasn’t plan at all. Worry and anxious were written all over her face.

“What I’m going to do?” She whispered worriedly as she took a long deep breath.

“Should I now packed my things and left him immediately so that I can start my new life with my baby?” She said in herself not knowing that Lucas was in there standing at the door.

“What did you just say?” He said as he stepped forward to her.
