CH 34: Passionate Night

Lizzy’s POV

I held the female organizer’s hand as I continued to calm myself down. “I’m fine. Just now when I came out of the cubicle, my brother-in-law was standing by the door, drunk. He startled and scared me with his words. Maybe he thought I was the one he was looking for.”

“Did he hurt you? Should I call security or Sir Jason here?” she asked.

“N-no need. He didn’t hurt me. I’m fine. Let’s go out now,” I said.

We rushed out of the restroom. As we walked towards the party area, I glanced around the area close to the restrooms, hoping to find John there in good condition, even though he seemed to be heavily intoxicated. Something I didn’t understand was still bothering me. It was uncomfortable, but I had to be in a good mood because this was my happy day with Jason, the day I had been waiting for all these years.
