MIA'S POV:

I choked on my saliva as soon as Liam said that. Honestly, his words took me by surprise. I wasn't expecting to hear him ask me that.

I thought that he wanted me to tell him the truth about how I got pregnant with his child without our meeting.

I was kinda trying to come up with an answer to his question, and now this?

"A date?" I asked as I stared at him.

"Yeah. You know it's the weekend, and it wouldn't be fun to just stay at home all day doing nothing. It's okay if you don't wanna go, I won't force you" he said in one breath looking exhausted.

The idea sounded fun to me and seriously I needed some time to blow off steam and release myself from stress.

"No! I mean I'm cool with it." I said with a nervous laugh.

"Hope I didn't sound too desperate?" I asked myself in a murmur.

"Great, then it's a date," he said with a small smile.

"Yeah, I guess so," I said as a light yawn escaped my mouth.
