TWENTY TWO

LIAM’S POV:

I woke up to the ray of sunshine that seeped in through the window and shown directly in my eye.

I groaned as I covered my head with the duvet. I was not in a hurry to wake up since it was the weekend.

Deciding to sleep some more, I closed my eyes as I lay more comfortably on the bed.

After sleeping to my satisfaction a few hours later, I woke up and grabbed my phone by the bed stand to check the time.

I gasped as I looked at the time. It was some minutes past eleven in the morning.

I immediately rushed out of bed and I headed to the bathroom to have a shower.

I came back to the room refreshed minutes later. I dressed up, grabbed my phone, and headed downstairs.

I met the maids setting the table for breakfast. I walked over to them to have some breakfast. They greeted me immediately they saw me walking over to them. I responded to their greeting with a nod.

They dished out my food and I was about to dig in when I remembered that Mia wasn't downstairs yet.

“Where's Mia?”
