MIA’S POV:

I spent the rest of the week in tears and despair as I locked myself up in my room.

I couldn't believe that Liam would just leave like that without a second thought, and not even trying to call or text me.

When I finally got out of the room days later, I met my mom waiting for me by my doorstep.

She spent the rest of the days convincing me to give Liam a second chance even after I showed her the video of what he did to me.

She simply told me that there was an explanation for everything and that he might have a good reason for doing that.

I refused to listen to her but she kept trying to convince me so hard that I ran back right into my room before slamming the door shut and locking it.

I lay on my bed as I thought about what my mom said.

Maybe she was right somehow but I just couldn't bring myself to call Liam, not since he left without a single word and didn't text or call.
