Chapter 52

Conrad's POV

As I kneel on the cold floor I now realized everything my father has said to me...love is indeed a weakness but I am not regretting anything.

I held Atasha's hand tightly and look at her directly in the eyes desperate to convince her to keep our child.

"I already told you I don't want a child," she firmly said as if she already decided everything.

I aggressively shake my head. Tears fell from my eyes. I feel like I am losing all my strength.

"How about me Atasha? That is also my child, you can take away my right," I said. Atasha looked at me coldly and those stares scared the hell out of me.

This is the first time I hate looking into her eyes.

"You want this child to live?" she asked looking at me in disbelief.

"And then what? Teach him/her how to use guns? Force him/her to live in a world filled with cruelty? You can't even get me out of this life. Don't you think you are being selfish if you drag this child to this hellish world just to be with us?" those words slap me
