MELISSA’S POV

I was shocked that he had insisted that we were a couple when we aren’t and I felt bad the more, because he was probably doing this, because of that confession which wasn’t true. I decided that after this breakfast with the couple, I will settle the misunderstanding.

After the breakfast ended and the couple went their way, as we got out of the restaurant, I made move to tell him.

“Uhm… I need to explain yesterday’s…”

“Look. I understand your feelings and I will give you time to process it, seeing that you are too shy to accept it. I am not mad at you, okay?” He interrupted me and gave me a smile.

I couldn’t say a word anymore and I wasn’t certain, when this drama was going to end as it seemed like he had really taken it, serious. We got back to our respective rooms in the hotel, and as I let myself fall on the bed, I remembered his words.
