“Arrgh” I grunted as I slowly opened my eyes.

I was in the basement, and I felt much better than when I injected myself with that. If that man had already injected it into Melissa, she was going to react badly to it and then unspeakable things were going to happen, which wasn’t supposed to be. The human world and the supernatural world ought to be balanced and wolves were not supposed to lose control in this world.

It was night already and then I had a bath, because I had gotten dirty. While in the shower, I could not help but keep thinking about Melissa. I was going to break down if anyone had done something bad to her and I will no longer have the will to live. In order to prevent that, it was better for me to protect her with my all.

After I had my bath, I went to the balcony and I felt much relieved with the cool breeze that caressed my skin. Looking at the stars and seeing how beautiful they were made Melissa’s image to keep popping up in my head. I yearned to cudd
