MELISSA’S POV

I needed to get to the address as quick as possible, because nothing else mattered than this address. I got to do anything to save Layla, and thankfully, it wasn’t something so hard to do. They just needed my presence.

“Hello. I am at the address and I am alone.” I said, hoping nothing won’t prevent me from seeing Layla today.

“Yeah, I can see. Now cross over to the other side of the road and walk through the alley. You’ll see a car at the other end, just get in.” He gave me directions and hung up.

To be honest, I was frightened, because these people were too dangerous to trust. But if they killed Layla when I still had the chance to save her, it was going to be hard to forgive myself.
