Leaving the room with a wide smile on my face, it took everything in me got me not to skip around the whole hallway.

The woman I loved loved me back. I had been the biggest asshole to her, when the only crime she committed was trying to save me from her deranged brother.

I hurt her a whole lot. I didn't deserve her.

Not in the slightest.

I would make it up to her. I would do everything I could possibly do to make it up to her.

And that included convincing Connor, her friend that she wasn't a traitor.

And my parents, who actually believed there was more to this, but I didn't listen.

And the whole pack.

I needed to assign a personal guard and maid to her, and I had just the girl. She had been in training since the day I scouted her, and in no time she was going to be the strongest.

I had no idea what she had been through, but she had this hunger for domination in her eye.
