The smell of rotting flesh reached my nostrils with a bang. The ten soldiers were almost changed into their wolf form, their bodies turning into the way the rogue that attacked them looked.

Their eyes were foggy and distant, and each of them were changed together, to stop them from attacking other wolves.

"What in the hell?" I muttered as I examined them with a thorough look. They were all under a trance, just like the rogue looked.

"Those are our soldiers, Seth. And now they've been bitten by that monster outside, turning them into this."

Their eyes were beginning to lack the humanity that eyes often had in them.

They looked wild and possessed, I found the answer to my question.

"Dark magic." I whispered, feeling my heart sink in the pit of my belly.

Luke nodded, "You are right. It is dark magic. That's what the healers said."

I folded my arms across my chest, "Did They say what we could do?"

Luke shook his head, "Dark magic can not be combated ordinarily.
