A growl left Seth's lips as the soldier mentioned my brother, and a gasp left my lips. What was Xander doing here?

What did he want?

Before I could process further, Seth stormed towards the door, but I ran after him, holding his hand to stop him from rampaging down all the way to the dungeons. His eyes flared with anger, and his fists tightened.

"I'm going to kill him." He growled, while I tried to soothe him, my other hand resting on his chest. "Seth, please, let's find out why he's here first. There must be a reason."

Seth's eyes met mine, and I almost shrunk back with the intense anger burning in his orbs, turning them almost black. "His reason must be nothing more than the need to be killed."

He pulled away from me once again, walking out of the room and out to the hallway but I ran after him, almost slipping on the floor because of how fast he was walking.

He was out for blood, and wouldn't rest until he got it.

But I couldn't let him. Xander was my only family left.
