Ninety-Four

I ran with all my speed, not bothering to look back once, but I could sense them behind me. Their paws echoed on the floor, the sound enveloping the crunch of my boots as they stepped on everything on the ground as I ran for my life.

They were gaining in on me, and it was getting hard to lose them despite every one of the twists and turns, and the border seemed to be anå+q+¹+++qq+ eternity away as I strive to reach it.

I felt heat behind my legs. As a wolf who had undergone assassin trainings , I could kill a good amount of wolves at a time.

But these wolves were magically enhanced. It often wore off, but it was on a high tonight. I couldn't stand a chance.

With the last willpower I had, I pushed with all my might, and I pushed myself even harder. The trees blurred, and the night air whipped against my face as I raced towards the border, and passing the last tree, I successfully felt a strong surge of energy pass through me.

I was out of the border.
