Chapter 52_ Goodbye

When Vanessa woke up in bed, she noticed Lisa and Cia sitting beside her. She looked at them and they both had cold looks on their faces.

She felt uncomfortable. Vanessa tried to remember what happened to put her in a sick bed in the hospital. She was sharp to recall the issue of her grandmother and doctor Allen announcing the death of her grandmother to her.

Vanessa was still in shock, even when she woke up, she didn't say anything to her friends. They were looking after her, worried about her health.

"You are awake" Lisa was the first person to notice.

"Vanessa, what the hell is wrong with you? Just this morning, you were sick and I asked you to stay at home. How did you sneak out without me noticing?" Cia scolded Vanessa at first.
