I woke up from the sound of my alarm and so I quickly turned it off and glanced to look at my child who was deeply asleep beside me.
It’s only six o’ clock in the morning but I need to get up so I can prepare everything my baby needs. A smile roamed around my lips as I watched her. My head was in the clouds the whole time since Daevon left my office. I turned my folder away from me before leaning my back on my swivel chair.Just seeing him earlier already messed me up completely. After a few minutes passing by, the same familiar structure of the house engulfed my view. He parked his car at the side and just like that, I was at the same place we used to live together.I took a deep sigh and just did what he wanted. I stared blankly at my office the whole morning. I almost thanked God for not letting me stutter.

He’s playing with my daughter in the living room while the three of us stood there in the kitchen, talking among ourselves.“So what’s your plan?” my dad asked casually while drinking his coffee. I woke up disoriented. I quickly got out from my bed when I noticed the unfamiliar sight of the whole room. I heard some sounds coming from the other room and so I walked towards it. As I got closer and closer to the area, the voices become clearer.“I thought you’re not coming back anymore,” a man’s voice said.I never been nosy before but something tells me I need to listen to their conversation. I kept my distance, enough just so I can hear them. I heard some sizzling sound. Ellaine? Yeah, that’s it,” the other man’s voice asked casually.
