CHAPTER 35

After our emotional breakdown finished, we both fix ourselves and talk everything that we missed for the past four years.

"How about your pregnancy? Raising her alone with your two friends… was it hard?" he asked calmly while holding onto my hand. 

My other hand had been helping me munch away some chips while my head was leaning on his chest. We were both sitting on the sofa, watching movies on the television. 

I stopped to put the chip in my mouth for a second. “I was diagnosed with post-partum,” I said, uttering weakly. 

I felt him stiffened and then massaged my hand when he regained his composure back.

“You know, I only have my instincts at that time. I believe that Ivann and I didn't do it but still I couldn’t erase the fact that there was a chance t-that she's Ivann's child,” I added. 

I felt his hold tightened. I stared blankly on the television with a sad smile looming my face.
