Eira’s POV

“We already got to the courtyard, right?” Selene asked, and I replied.

“Yes, we just got here,”

“I know, I always came here as a child. This courtyard was the Queen’s favorite spot. She said the energy here is different from any other place in the Palace, ” Selene announced, glancing around as if she could see the courtyard. But I guessed she was reminiscing and looking at the place as she had seen it before.

“When was the last time you came here before you lost your sight?” I asked, supporting her to the pavilion.

After we were finally seated, she replied. “I don't come here often. After my parents died, this courtyard became my least favorite place. It's been more than a decade since I've been here, ”
