Chapter 3

      “ Where is Elvira?” Achax said immediately he walked in on Hermes. 

        “ Uhm! I don’t know she went out” Hermes said loudly and then murmured “ attitude”. 

       “ What? You let her go out alone, why did I fix you with her? you were meant to watch her and keep her safe” Achax said a bit annoyed. 

        “Ok! What ever this is, I don’t care, I want my bestie right now” Asami said with a raised brow. 

       “ It would be fine, she can’t be far, I can tell the security team to find her right away” Tyr said and walked out. 

       “ hush! All this is your fault, you are in really big trouble Mr. Hermes” Achax said this time in a higher tone. 

         “ she didn’t tell me where she was going, she just walked out plus she was very rude to me” Hermes said trying to defend his self. 

          “ I’m gonna kill you” Achax said and began coming closer to Hermes. 

          Asami rushed and stood in front of Hermes and said “ what are you thinking? Don’t cause any more scenes right here” 

         “ they’ve found her” Hermes said with a broad smile. 

         Conri walked into the room with Elvira in his arms, she was still unconscious at the moment. Asami rushed to Conri while Achax couldn’t move, his legs were stilled and his eyes opened wild, he was almost panicking which was very obvious. Hermes came closer to Achax and snapped a finger in his face. 

           “ what’s wrong with her, how did she end up like this?” Asami asked Conri curiously. 

            “ it would be better if you take her back, get the doctor to see her, and let her rest, it was nice having you” he said with a bow and walked out. 

          “ she would be fine, if you rush” Elmira pointed out. 

          Later that evening Achax and Asami sat in Elvira’s room just staring at her, meanwhile the doctor was checking her. 

          “ thank Goodness she wasn’t hurt, the slightest contact between a dragon snake and a vampire leads to certain death” Doctor Selene said still checking her pulse. 

          “ so why hasn’t she woken up yet?” Asami questioned 

          “ you see, when a vampire comes in contact with a dragon snake it finds a way to bring out fear from every cell in the body, it controls the mind of the vampire and gentles it until the vampire can no longer take control of it’s own body then it swallows it. And if the vampire luckily escape it get to have a long life disease, that slowly kills the vampire” Doctor Selene said and looked at Achax. 

          “ are you saying she is going to die?” Achax questioned. 

          “ well she wouldn’t die if you keep her away from, chilled areas, surprises, and keep her on Constant therapy” she replied As she stood up. 

           “ When is she going to wake up?” Asami asked concerned. “ probably in five days” Doctor Selene replied with a smile. 

          “ five days!” Asami exclaimed “and why the hell are you smiling?” She added. 

          “ thanks Ms. Selene we’d do as you said” Achax said with a brief smile. 

           Doctor Selene bowed and walked out leaving Achax and Asami to solve the rest of the problem. Asami’s mind began running wild and fast, meanwhile all Achax wanted was Hermes dead and gone, the thought of Conri carrying Elvira in his arms were already tormenting and now he had to live five days watching her sleep, he exhaled and took another glance at Elvira, he suddenly had mixed feelings towards her. 

          “ wake up dumb head I have a lot I want to tell you” Asami said as she rested her head beside Elvira. 

           “ she would be fine, you should also rest” Achax said and flounced out. 

           The next morning at the wolf realm, Conri sat on the roof of the tower recapping everything that happened the day before, when Elmira walked up to him with the most positive energy she has ever put up. 

             “ Moon hour, Mr. Conri” she said with a smile. 

           “ you seem excited, I don’t like it” he replied abruptly. 

          “ What are you going to do about the vampire, she would die” Elmira said sincerely. 

         “ that’s non of my business, I have managed to save her once I can’t do it again” he said and stood up. 

          “ she doesn’t deserve to die, I mean she’s Elvira” Elmira said. 

         “ then why don’t you help her , if you really care” he said with a straight face and walked past her. 

           Elmira let out a scoff and said “ the attitude”. 

          Meanwhile everyone in the vampire realm were gathered at Elvira’s door to see her including Master Drogo. Master Drogo called the vampires and ordered everyone to their dorms. 

         “ what do we do dad I can’t loose my friend, I still have a lot I want to discuss with her” Asami said with a tear filled eyes. 

          “ you can tell me” Hermes suddenly blurted. 

          Asami turned to Hermes with a death stare. “ I was just leaving” Hermes said and walked out. 

          “ Doctor Selene!” Master Drogo called out  

          “ yes Master!, The only solution is to get the Alpha wolf” she said and paused. 

          “ what? that’s impossible, why can’t we wait till the five days are complete?” Achax asked 

           “ she can die in coma” Doctor Selene said boldly. 

         “ she would keep on going with the treatment, he would never agree anyway” Achax said and flounced out. 

         “ dad! do something, you can’t let him take such a decision, what if she dies huh? What do you want me to do without her?” Asami said already crying. 

          “ I can’t do anything without approval from the two leaders, get yourself together” Master Drogo said and walked out. 

          Doctor Selene also followed suite leaving Asami all alone with dangerous thoughts. 

           “ look at me, I can’t loose you now, I just lost my powers, you are all I have, you see those two, my brother isn’t willing to drop his pride to save a vampire and my father isn’t willing to break the rules just to save a vampire, they all hate you, they hate me too, if you die I’d also die but not without Achax and Master Drogo” Asami said as she kept on rubbing Elvira’s palms. 

            Later that day as Doctor Selene was checking in on Elvira she suddenly began to shiver, her feet and palms went cold, and her head was running a temperature of 98⁰c, her heart beat slower and slower, her pulse kept dropping. Asami’s heart was definitely going to come out of her chest if things didn’t get better, she ran swiftly to inform Achax about Elvira’s condition cause that was her only choice (to beg). 

          “ please get the wolf leader she might just die, her pulse is dropping she isn’t going to be fine, don’t fucking lie to me, drop your ego please, don’t you love her anymore, please do something” Asami said wryly. 

           “ Hermes!” Achax called out loudly  

        “ yes! Do you need something?” He asked politely. 

         “ quickly send a letter to the Alpha wolf, tell him the primus needs his help urgently” Achax said. 

         “ drop- your- pride! Tell him Asami needs him, my Elvira needs him urgently” Asami said and flounced out. 

        Within minutes the message got to the Alpha wolf, now Elvira’s life depended on Conri’s decision. He simply smirked and threw the paper in the bin. 

          “ What are you going to do? we need to help her, if not for the vampires do it for Master Drogo” Elmira said pathetically. 

           “ get Tyr, we are going to the vampire Realm” he said with a smirk. 

          “ what are you cooking up in your brain, you always have a plan when you smirk” Elmira said. 

            “ don’t let anyone know your next move” Achax said and took a sip from his wine.
