Chapter 4

          The room went extremely silent as Conri stood staring at Elvira, Elvira’s condition wasn’t any better it seemed to be getting worse she was already turning blue, her eyes were completely shut, her teeth were tightly locked, everyone had their eyes set on Conri. Finally he exhaled and said. 

          “ I would need the room vacant”  

         “ Is that all you’d need?” Asami asked. 

          “ Yes! You can stay if you want to and the primus too” Conri said and walked closer to Elvira’s bed. 

          In minutes the room was almost empty and Conri began the treatment, he held Elvira’s wrist to check her pulse, he smirked and glanced at Asami. 

          “ is it bad? Is she going to survive?” she asked curiously. 

            “ it is bad, she has only a pulse left, but she would survive” he answered and put 

Elvira’s palms in his, he then leaned forward and read some native words into her ears, Elvira instantly stopped shivering, her body began to warm up, and her heart began beating faster. 

            “ that’s it you’re done?” Asami asked with a smile. 

            “ no! she has just been gentled, We would need to remove the poison from her entire body, it’s really gonna hurt though, if you wouldn’t be able to stand it you can leave” Elmira said. 

             “ we would stay here, she needs to find people she loves around her once she’s awake” Achax replied. 

            Asami took Elvira by her other hand and said “ hang in there Elvira”. 

           “ once he begins there’s no turning back” Tyr said 

            Conri put his hands on Elvira’s chest and began some strange recitations, Elvira’s fingers began moving, then her head began tilting, her teeth began gnashing, Asami held Elvira’s hands more firmly. Conri slowly began moving his fingers, dragging the poison from her body, suddenly Elvira began screaming loudly. Achax mouth dropped open and his eyes wide open 

             “ what is he doing to her? Stop it, right now ” Achax said loudly. 

             “ there’s a field around them you can’t get to her, she would be fine” Elmira said pathetically. 

            “ hang in there Elvira” Asami said crying. 

             Conri increased the speed of poison collection making Elvira scream even more, tears dropped from her eyes. Her colour began coming back as he dragged the last amount of poison from her body and swiftly put all the poison in his body. Conri’s eyes turned deep blue, he held his fist tightly and closed his eyes. 

              “ are you fine?” Tyr said and held Conri’s shoulders. 

             “ I would be fine” Conri said and exhaled “ she would be fine, but she would still be on treatment, she would wake up in an hour or two, she should rest” he added. 

            “ the poison, we need to head back right now” Elmira said and held Conri’s hands. 

           “ thank you!” Asami said with a soft smile. 

            “ it was a pleasure” Elmira said and swiftly teleported Tyr, Conri and herself back to the wolf realm. 

             Achax said nothing and kept on staring at Elvira. 

           “ how dare you let her condition get to this state?” Asami asked hitting Achax chest. 

            Achax just stood there looking at Asami he probably couldn’t even hear what she was saying, when he finally came back, he held her hands and walked out. 

           Asami walked back to Elvira’s bed and took her hand “ The Alpha wolf has helped you twice now, he said you’d be fine, Achax would have killed you, for what? stupid enemity that we have no business with” Asami said still holding Elvira’s hands, she laid down beside Elvira and slept off. 

             Later that day Elvira’s eyes slowly opened, everything went blur, she maneuvered her way off the bed without waking Asami. She slowly walked towards the window and smiled as she watched the view. Asami slowly opened her eyes and her first view was Elvira standing by the window. 

           “ Elvira!” she screamed. 

            Elvira stumbled and looked at Asami, “you startled me” she said. 

             Asami ran towards Elvira and hugged her tight, “ you have no idea how worried I was, why did you have to walk around?, what if I lost you? Huh?” Asami said pathetically. 

             “ Ashhh! You are hurting me, my body is aching, let me go” Elvira said trying to break loose from Asami’s grip. 

            “ wow! That’s all you are going to say, do you know how many nights I spent awake watching dumb you sleeping” Asami said and released Elvira. 

            “ how many days was I gone?” Elvira asked curiously. 

            “ two bad days, if not for the Alpha wolf it would have been an everlasting sleep(death)” Asami said. 

           “ wow! I really missed a lot” Elvira said thinking. 

            “ I’m just glad you are back, I just hope the Alpha is fine though” Asami blurted. 

            “ did something happen?” Elvira asked. 

            “ well he took in the extracted poison , it was the only way to keep it from hurting any other vampire, how sweet, I have a lot to discuss with you though” Asami said and looked at Elvira “ what are you thinking of?” she added. 

             “ why did he risk his life?” She asked curiously. 

              “ That’s non of your business, he helped us that’s what matters, by the way what were you looking for when you fell into the pit?” Asami said. 

             “ I need to see the Alpha wolf” Elvira said seriously. 

             “ and how are you going to do that?” Asami asked. 

             “ right now I have no idea” Elvira said and rubbed her chin.
