I woke up when something stirred inside of me and gave a long tiring stretch, and the loud voices I was hearing, wasn’t it too early for all of these noises?

‘Hello Sera, it’s been a while.’ The sassy voice of my wolf said. I did not know I was screaming when I heard her.

‘I know you miss me, stop embarrassing me.’ She rolled her eyes.

‘Nyx!’

‘You left me!’ I scolded her.

‘No. I have been recuperating.’

I scoffed, she was probably lying but I was glad my wolf was back.

‘I have to recuperate very fast I know you are gonna need my help to give birth to our pup, and I can’t wait to see those...’

“Sera, are you okay?!” The door flung open and worried Jamal marched down the bed, with a worried look on his face.

Interrupting the discussion I was having with my wolf.

“I heard you scream, is something wrong? Are you hungry? Breakfast is ready, should I bring them to you or do you want to join us downstairs?” Jamal sat on the bed.

“Did I scream because I was hungry?” I frown
