Dinner date

Kira's POV

I hastened my steps towards the kitchen, I didn't want to end up being suspected of taking too long. Knowing it will be too obvious if I took the document with me, also I only had a dress on. Dipping a whole three-page document inside of me would have getting admitted to the hospital. The joy of having your phone with you at the right time when it's most needed. It felt like I had won a trophy.

“That was fast, didn't think you would find it that easily.” Elizabeth mused, to my surprise.

I smiled lightly, handing the phone to her, “you described it perfectly.” Excusing herself to go make a call, I tried to ransack my head to be certain I didn't leave the table in the study too scattered.

“You might want to go back.” Ayla taunted

I snorted, ignoring her saucy attitude. She was at it again, I am really different from Ayla. Sauciness isn't a part of me, or maybe it is. I really can't tell, she is just a different breed on her own.
