"Please, stop, Luna!" Ariana called out to me. I halted, not wanting to appear rude, but I had no desire to engage in conversation with her.

"What?" I didn't turn to face her as I questioned why she wanted to talk to me. I had already moved past my resentment. Today, I had many other things to deal with, and her attempt to reconcile seemed unnecessary.

"I just don't want to start off on the wrong foot. It has already been wrong from the beginning. I want us to have a good and healthy relationship," she walked towards me and stood in front of me. I maintained a neutral expression, concealing how her words had softened me internally, something anyone would feel when approached in such a manner.
