Alana's POV:

The next morning, I got dressed in my training attire with my hair pinned up in a ponytail to keep away from my face before making my way to the pack's training ground with only one intension in mind: to get Kai to teach me how to kill him without even realizing he was.

By the time I made my way passed the guards at the entrance, Kai was already there, sword fighting with his beta Adam, his movement was swift and almost predatory, sending warning chills down my spine.

I bet Adam was good too even though he was barely holding up with Kai’s relentless movement over and over again.

Both men were so engrossed in their own training session that they didn’t even notice my presence. I just stood there watching from a close distance, taking note of every one of their key moves.

Just then, Kai’s head snapped at my direction, his movement slowing to a stop as he locked eye with me. Adam stopped as well, his eyes following Kai’s line of sight before settling back on me.
