Alana's POV

I don’t know how long I sat there on the floor sobbing, my whole being trembling with barely suppressed tears, but in the end, I wiped my tears away with the back of my hand, feeling a mix of emotions course through me as I stood in my small, now suffocating room.

Though hard and almost heartbreaking, my mind had already been made up. The decision had been made; I couldn't stay at Crimson Pack any longer. I just couldn’t. With only a week left and a failed mission, I knew it was time to leave.

I needed to return to Oceanic Pack as soon as possible and try and rescue my kids myself. With enough convincing, Alex could help talk to his Alpha and make him see why my children and I have no part in whatever issue he has with Kai.

Glancing around me, I noticed my few belongings were scattered around the room, a physical representation of the turmoil going on in my life.
