Alana’s POV

As the morning sun gently filtered through the curtains, I blinked my eyes open, feeling a sense of disorientation wash over me. I lay there for a moment trying to recall where i was and it hit me, a small gasp escaped my lips as the fog of sleep slowly lifted from my eyes, and reality suddenly slammed into my consciousness like a tidal wave.

Alpha Kai, last night, every single detail flooded my mind, stumbling after one another. I tried to get out of bed but couldn't.

I was lying naked in bed next to Kai, his arms wrapped around me, still fast asleep—the very person I had come to eliminate. My heart raced as I realized the gravity of the situation I was. Panic and regret surged through me, shattering the remnants of my dreams.

How did I allow myself to become so entangled in this mess? My mission had been freaking clear: eliminate Kai at all costs. But now, my priorities seem to have shifted, leaving me in a state of confusion and despair.

I was starting to have hope for Alana. Unfortunately, she seems intent on killing them every time. she had potential but evidently she doesn't want to.

Unless she had no intention of letting her children know of the existence of their biological father, how was she going to explain to them that he was killed by her to save them ?
