What Has Happened To My Former Pack?

The next day, my journey began earlier than the cock’s crow. There was no reason for me to remain in the pack and wait anymore, I had packed up all of my things for the trip, mostly weapons since I did not know how the reception at the pack would be, and I was ready.

I had decided not to make a big thing out of it, forgoing the large announcement I usually would have made for their sakes and mine. I strongly believed that being around all of them would make leaving so much harder for me. Besides, goodbyes were pretty hard for me.

Without waiting for anything else, I hoisted my things over my shoulder and began to hike all the way to my former pack. I remembered the path I had taken to arrive where I had, and I was familiar with all of the places. As I passed the pack where I had been attacked with the rest of the outcasts, I carefully skirted around the pack boundaries, avoiding them.
