Chapter thirty

CORA’s POV….

I raised my head to see him staring at me, and I swallowed, wiping my tears off slightly as I got up, and I made to leave when he suddenly called out to me.

"Cora," he’d called slightly, and I stopped.

I stood there, tears streaming down my cheeks, when he came to where I stood, placing his hands on my shoulders, and at that moment, I let it all out. The moment his hands came on my shoulders, the tears I didn’t want him to see started to stream down my cheeks, and I closed my eyes as he led me back to the ground where I’d been crying before he came along.

"Don’t cry; it’s going to be fine." He told me as he rubbed my back slightly, but it wasn’t enough to make me stop crying.
