Chapter thirty five

With how close he was to me at this moment, I could feel my heart racing. I swallowed as I stared at him, and he gulped.

"You are?" I managed to speak, and he placed his hands on the wall with a smirk on his face.

"Didn’t you know already? You’ve been asking if I was jealous for a very long time, and now I’ve answered the question." He told me, and this time, he leaned in even more.

I gulped as his hot breath brushed through my skin like a breeze on a beautiful summer day, and I closed my eyes, swallowing at intervals. He chuckled slightly, tucking my hair behind my ears as he planted a soft kiss on my cheeks, and damn, that was the first time it actually sent shivers all the way from my heart, to my spine, to my stomach, and then all the way down to my legs.

I opened my eyes slowly to see him staring at me, and I knew that if I continued to stand there in front of him, I might end up doing something I would regret.
