I couldn’t be thinking about that, at least not now. He was hurting Edgar badly, and I just couldn’t stand there and watch it.

"What are you doing? Let go of him!" I told him as I tried to separate him from Edgar, who had started to bleed from the beatings.

"How dare you hug her? How dare you lay a finger on her? Don’t you know who she is? Don’t you?" He asked, and the moment he asked if Edgar didn’t know who I was, I staggered.
