Elizabeth’s POV

Hogan saved me from spiders, carried me with his arms, and because of the rain, he brought me to take shade under the big, curved roots of a huge tree.

This is all because I am weak.

I am so sure Hogan would continue walking in the rain if I weren’t with him. In short words, I am a nuisance.

I felt sorry for him. But I just couldn’t let him meet Philip alone and hear the news alone either.

‘It’s fine. The rain will stop soon.’

I turned my head to Hogan, about to ask him how long it would take us to reach the pack. But when I looked back, I saw him taking his shirt off. My eyes naturally fell on those tanned skin and six-pack abs.

It wasn’t my first time seeing his upper body. But with everything I did, my body reacted.

‘Don’t be silly! Hogan needed to wrinkle his shirt because it was wet!’

Talking about my shirt off, I think I need to take my shirt off. It’s dripping wet.

‘I can’t take it off while Hogan is with me.’
