MITCH

MITCH KNEW SOMETHING changed in him since the first time he saw the children. He had expected the feeling to change or diminish over the years, but to his surprise, they remained and even grew stronger.

They spent more time with him in the palace than they did in Anna's house - which was no more the tiny cabin as before, he'd had her moved to a better and bigger house near the main street.

When Anna proposed that she wanted to be sent to college, it had come as a surprise to him. He had mulled it over in his mind, the kingdom does not have a specially trained doctor - they had never needed one. Werewolves rarely got sick they only needed a healer for pregnancy and giving birth. Nothing much more than that.

But Anna's pregnancy had taken a different turn when she gave birth a month too early and the diagnosis was that the children were too strong for her depleted wolf spirit, she was taken to a human hospital but the doctors that were supposed to treat her and restore blood level
